I will be seeing patients on a modified schedule, but will be available every week through the end of the year- just not as much availability, so don't delay getting your appointment set. Inclement weather: I don't want either one of us risking life and limb to make an appointment. You will be contacted with as much warning as possible if I cannot make it in, or if the whole clinic shuts for the day. Please give us as much warning as possible if you cannot make it in- by calling immediately. Cancellation fees will be waived when it is not safe to travel. If your benefits turn over on New Year's Eve, take close look at what alternative care benefits you have left. For some, that means that they have a lot of benefits still available (for example a certain $ amount of care per year), for others that may be a certain number of visits (12 visits allowed per year). For others, they may have a deductible, in essence a certain $ amount that they have to pay for care before the insurance starts 'picking up the bill.' And if those benefits change starting January 1st, then depending on which camp you are in above, you will either be wanting to rush to get your medical needs met before the ball drops, or may be waiting to schedule your appointment until you get a new set of benefits 'in the bank' starting in the new year. Either way, if you are uncertain call your insurance company ASAP to find out (you can also check with Heart Spring Health as they do ask these types of questions). Make sure you're not missing out- you pay for that plan after all, so you should take full advantage of those benefits and not delay needed care.
